According to reports, the soldiers were arrested after military authorities received intelligence indicating they participated in security operations at the celebrity wedding held in Lekki, Lagos, last weekend.
An internal investigation has been launched to determine how the soldiers became involved in the assignment.
The personnel have been identified as Private Onasanya Ifeoluwa and Private Ukpai Onyinyechi, both attached to the 81 Division Medical Services and Hospital (81DMSH) in Obalende, Lagos.
A military source said investigators are examining whether the soldiers acted on their own or if other personnel were involved in the alleged unauthorised deployment.
The source added that the investigation is still in its early stages and that more details are expected to emerge as the probe continues.
The investigation followed the circulation of several videos from the wedding showing individuals dressed in Nigerian Army uniforms performing security-related duties at the venue.
One of the viral clips allegedly showed a soldier escorting TikTok personality Ivanna through the crowd while restricting access to people around her.
The videos sparked widespread debate on social media, with many Nigerians questioning why serving military personnel appeared to be providing security at a private celebrity event.

However, public attention later shifted from the celebration to the presence of uniformed soldiers after multiple videos surfaced online showing them controlling movement and escorting guests.
